Rule Of Thumb In Getting Cheap Airline Tickets

May 17, 2008 By: Admin Category: Tips No Comments →

Airline tickets can get so expensive. Just getting there can really take up a huge portion of any budget. I sometimes get frustrated trying to find something reasonable when I want to travel, not when there are only airfare sales going on. Never fear though, I am about to layout a couple things you can do to get cheap tickets and keep more of that money in your pocket.

Airlines change their prices regularly to try and have a full airplane at departure time. Most will lower their airfares on Tuesday or Wednesdays about 21 days before departure. A good rule of thumb is to book and purchase your ticket for travel on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for travel at late or off-peak hours of flying (like redeye flights). When you book your trips, a seven day stay including the weekend, will get you the most bargain airline tickets whether there is a sale or not. Also, a flight to a smaller, less trafficking airport nearby can keep the bargain airfares in sight.

Now its time to talk about codeshare flights. These are flights that one airline will book on another airline for the part of the trip it cannot serve. These flights are agreed upon between the two or more airlines involved and can save you a ton of money. You can get a list of the codeshare partners and check each individual airline for flights and compare prices on each with codeshare flights involved. In most cases, you will actually find that one partner will actually have the same flights for lower airfares if you buy it from them than from another one of the other partner airlines. Even if one the partners offer a sale to somewhere it does not fly to, you can buy that low airfare and fly on one of the other partner airlines that does fly there.

Being An Entrepreneur = Being Your Own Boss

May 17, 2008 By: Admin Category: Tips No Comments →

If you are getting tired of running in the rat race, then consider becoming a home business entrepreneur. After all, as long as you cling to a job, then you can expect to be the recipient of all the wrong and unpleasant things that come with it. By starting your own home business, you will be making a giant step to achieving your goals of being Nouveau Riche. Nouveau riche (French for “new rich”), or new money, refers to a person who has acquired considerable wealth within his or her generation. This term is generally to emphasize that the individual was previously part of a lower socioeconomic rank, and that such wealth has provided the means for the acquisition of goods or luxuries that were previously unobtainable.

Being an entrepreneur means being your own boss. If you are the type of person who chafes under authority, then you must seriously consider starting your own venture. Being your own boss is an incredible psychological reward for many and it can inspire you to greater heights of productivity. You might also get better rewards. When you first become a home business entrepreneur, you might feel like you have given up a fair portion of the rewards that you had when you held down a regular job. Thats true, you will be giving up some benefits. But you will be getting more than what you give up, once again Nouveau Riche. By becoming self employed, you are taking charge of your own financial future. As long as you can bring something useful to the global marketplace, then you can expect to get paid in full.
